What is the YellowDot application, how does it work?

According to the introduction of Philips Lighting BV, YellowDot is a Libraries & Demo app on the Android platform. There is currently a 1.0.23 version released on Sep 04, 2017, you can see the details below.

YellowDot is the Philips LED indoor positioning technology, which shows your location within an enabled venue. To use the App you require an indoor map package (.ipm file) for your location.
