HMK GROUP, a diversified entity based in Nandyal is present in poultry trading, farms, Chicken outlets, Egg Trading, Electronic Industries and Cold Storages. It traces its humble beginning way back in 1992 by the visionary Hussain Reddy Manda, the first generation entrepreneur who started a small poultry farm with a capacity of 200 birds in a small village around Nandyal. In 1994 started poultry feed under the brand name Chandrika Traders . Entered into retail chicken outlet in the year 1997 with brand name Lakshmi Sai Egg & Chicken Center .

In the year 1997 starting broiler trading with a capacity of more than 1 lakh Kg broilers per month under the brand name Lakshmi Sai Traders . Supplied with in a radius of 60 Km . Hussain Reddy Manda encouraged many people in setting up their own chicken retail outlets and thus providing self employment. He observed that there was no proper supply for the Chicken demand .

Consistent business growth and incremental demand for quality chicken provided impetus for entering commercial broiler farming with large capacity. At present HMK Group operates a capacity of 60,000 broiler farms at Gopavaram village 15 Km away from Nandyal .Here birds are grown under hygiene condition with mineral water . Birds are transported to retail outlets in own transport .

To meet the growing demand for chicken HMK GROUP started expanded its retail outlets in and around Nandyal and rebranded its retail outlets as “HMK CHICKEN STORES”
