Exciting things are happening in Scouting and on the app! Here’s what to expect for version 2.0.

Out with the old and in with the new…way to track activity logs that is! Now available is a faster way to track your hiking, camping, service, and Sea Scouts Long Cruise activities. A simple form to enter any log and your unit leader will receive it instantly in Internet Advancement to review and approve. Each activity is then tracked where you can see how quickly you are hitting milestones!

Post and Clubs in the Exploring program are now supported through Scoutbook and the Scouting App! Track meetings and program progress right in the palm of your hands.

We’ve made improvements to how you navigate through the app as well as improved performance to get you the information you want and need faster.

As you track your or your Scouts advancement by completing requirements through the app, we are automatically updating your percent completed and status once they are submitted.

Speaking of advancements, you can now remove a Merit Badge by setting it back to “not started” if you aren’t ready to tackle that merit badge topic just yet.

Tracking attendees at an event or meeting just got easier too! You can now sort attendees by first or last name.

Lastly, we’ve addressed the issue of some incorrect advancement information showing in the advancements screen. Whew!

Bug fixes, Cub Scout celebration, and other minor improvements.
In this release, we’ve solved some text issues, updated the activity logs – specifically the ability to resolve any comments a unit leader send for editing – and add a pretty cool celebration that happens once a Cub Scout completes an adventure. We’ve also resolved some bugs that you may not have noticed but were impacting your experience.
