What is the Schiphol Runways application, how does it work?

According to the introduction of Bart Jekel, Schiphol Runways is a Travel & Local app on the Android platform. There is currently a 1.16 version released on Sep 19, 2014, you can see the details below.

This app shows which runways are currently in use at the Amsterdam airport Schiphol.
You can use it to see on which runway you will land/leave at Schiphol.
