Although much weaker, the Ahom Army defeated the Mughal Army by brilliant uses of the terrain, clever diplomatic negotiations to buy time, guerrilla tactics, psychological warfare, military intelligencesql_injectionby exploiting the sole weakness of the Mughal forces—its navy.
